Hill Street Harbour CottageHill Street Harbour Cottage is a lovely village property that will make you feel at home as soon as you walk in. Hill Street is one of the most sought after streets in the town of Picton. Its proximity to Crystal Palace, the Beer Store, the hospital, the golf course and the yacht club, as well as Main Street with all its offerings makes it a very practical place to stay and enjoy.
The home is wheel chair accessible and includes ramps from the garage through to the back yard and into the house, toilet holding rails in the master bedroom’s en suite bathroom, wide door ways, and wheel-chair accessible kitchen counter with range, oven, and sink.
The cottage offers a bright, well-equipped kitchen: fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, dishes, wine glasses, kitchen linens, pots and pans. Savour delicious meals in the adjacent dining room (seats 6), or dine alfresco on patio furniture overlooking the large, quiet back yard.
There are 2 bedrooms with quality Queen beds in each. The master bedroom features a sitting area, TV, DVD player and large en suite bathroom that includes a Jacuzzi with a hand held shower. (A cot is also available for a child to sleep in this room). A second bedroom at the front of the house has a Queen bed and en suite 3-piece bathroom with a shower. Quality linens, bedding and towels are provided. Guests are asked to bring beach towels.
On a cool or rainy day, spend some time in the living room by the warmth of the gas stove/fireplace watching your favourite films using the DVD player or the VCR, or listen to some music while curling up with a good book.Perennial gardens in the front and back yard embellish the grounds, making it a lush and colourful setting to relax and watch the songbirds.Larger groups can also book the charming upper suite, suitable for 2 – 4 people. It is comprised of a bright and fully equipped kitchen with lots of cupboard space, a large bedroom with water view, a 4 piece bathroom with a Jacuzzi and separate shower, and a living room and balcony with a view of Picton Harbour.
